• Sir Steve Adehi (SAN), new Supreme Knight, Order of The Knights of Saint Mulumba Nigeria (KSM).
The 46th Supreme Convention of The Order of the Knights of St. Mulumba, Nigeria (KSM), held in Kaduna between November 27 – 29, 2025, has elected a new executive council to pilot affairs of the Order for the next four years.
The twelve-member Supreme Executive Board (SEB) is headed by a new Supreme Knight, Sir Steve Zakari Adehi, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) and Knight Commander of St. Sylvester. Adehi is also the President of Papal Knights and Medalists in Nigeria.
Other members of the new Supreme Executive Board include Sir Dan Egwu, Deputy Supreme Knight; Sir George Eze, Supreme Secretary; Sir Titus Olasupo Ashaolu, SAN, Supreme Advocate; Sir Imo Ndaeyo, Supreme Chancellor; Sir Philip Okonkwo, Supreme Treasurer; Sir Richard Adidi, Supreme Financial Secretary; Sir Peter Okozi, Supreme Auditor; Sir Calistus Eneh, Supreme Physician; Sir Chinedu Enemuoh, Supreme Warden; Sir Chuddy Oduenyi, Supreme PRO/Editor; and Sir Joseph Duniya, Supreme Assistant Secretary.
In the spirit of sportsmanship Sir Frank Odafen, first runner up in the contest for the office of Supreme Knight, described the election as “rematkably hitch-free, a testament to the power of prayer, and proof that KSM is firmly in God’s hands.”
He conceded victory to Sir Steve Adehi, saying he is “the man spiritually endorsed to take KSM to the next level at this time.”
A lawyer by profession, Adehi brings vast experience and wisdom to his new role. As a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, all eyes are on him to take the Order to loftier heights.
In his congratulatory message to the new SEB, the immediate past Supreme Knight, Sir Dr. Charles Mbelede, urged the new team to always “think together, plan together and work together for a constructive and forward-moving SEB.”
A past Supreme Knight of KSM, Sir. Anthony Onuh, also congratulated the new SEB members on their election. He wished them a very successful tour of duty and prayed for God’s guidance and grace upon the Order.
Awards were conferred on several deserving members, notable among whom were the past Deputy Supreme Knight, Sir Emmanuel Onyejekwe, and past Noble President of the Ladies of St. Mulumba (LSM), Lady Anthonia Ngozi Obah. Both were conferred with the award of Commander of Knights of St. Mulumba (CKSM).
Four other members were conferred with Commander of Knights of St. Mulumba. They include Sir Moses Braimah, Sir Patrick Ikemefuna, Sir Theo Osanakpo (SAN) and Sir Steve Adehi (SAN). All four had earlier been conferred with Knight Commander by the Pope in recognition of their services to the church.
Other recipients were Sir Dan Egwu and Sir George Eze. Egwu was recognized for spearheading the year-long KSM 70th Anniversary events in 2023. Eze, a prominent traditional ruler, was recognized for the effortless ease with which he attends to his royal duties as well as the activities of the KSM, blending both most admirable passion.
Founded on 14th June 1953, The Order of The Knights of St. Mulumba Nigeria KSM seeks to bring Catholics together in fraternal association for the good and progress of the Church, its members and humanity in general.
The Order organises its members to participate in Catholic Action through support for progressive initiatives in both church and country. It also promotes social welfare through charitable works to the needy.
