We are not hitch-hikers on a trail; neither are we hippies on the highway, but we are a team of committed and dedicated ‘explorers’ and ‘navigators’ blazing a new trail and determined to cross the boundary.
Life, we are all aware of, is not a motorway but a maze but within the maze we have a traceable, discernable and “well-defined” path we are following.
We began our journey on Saturday, the 20th day of June when the trail blazers set out on this path, and after one-week, we have built some sort of momentum. We are fully aware that it is not a 100metres dash which starts with a savage display of awesome power. Rather, it is the jogs of a marathon with nice easy strides and at a gentle pace.
Our MENU has variety and quality content to cater for the varied interests and passions in academics, features, articles, poems, essays, sports, health, culture, tourism, tit-bits, reminiscences, Oggsian life etc.
Our contributors, not only have very impressive credentials, but have requisite experience in their various fields of endeavour and also writing skills and competencies.
The styles, topics, authors vary but one thing is constant, the quality of the content. At the Renaissance, we think globally but act locally. The responses from our global audience has been very encouraging. The statistics records over five thousand views from different countries including Nigeria since it went up live on the 20th of June. The international flavour of our magazine in tandem with our fine ‘local-brew’ makes the Renaissance online magazine an interesting read. One of the unique features of our approach is that the reader can also be a writer. We have been privileged to have as writers octogenarians and also teenagers.
